About the excursion

A combo tour with two adventures in one day: a buggy ride along the dirt roads of Köprülü Canyon and a two-stage rafting trip down a mountain river covering 14 km in total. Includes lunch by the river and hotel transfer.

Full description

In the morning you are picked up from your hotel and driven to Köprülü Canyon National Park, 1.5–2.5 hours from Antalya. On the way, the guide tells you about the day's programme and makes a short stop.

The rafting base has everything you need: changing cabins, showers, toilets, lockers for your belongings, a café and a shop. The instructors give a detailed safety briefing and hand out the equipment: helmets, life jackets and paddles.

First you get behind the wheel of a buggy and drive in a convoy along dusty forest roads, through puddles and fords. You drive yourself, while instructors accompany the group at the front and back.

Then the rafting begins. The first 8 km stretch runs through calm water between towering cliffs and pine trees. After that, lunch awaits you at a riverside café. The second 6 km stretch is faster and more fun: the current is stronger, the waves are higher and the spray flies over the side.

At the end of the day, the photos and videos taken during the day are shown at the base. You can buy them if you wish. You return to your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening.

Hotel pick-up

We pick you up in the morning in an air-conditioned minibus. The pick-up time depends on your area and will be sent to you by the organiser via WhatsApp.
Drive to Köprülü Canyon

The drive takes 1.5 hours with a short stop. The guide tells you about the day's programme.
Arrival at the base

Check-in at around 11:00. The base has changing cabins, showers, lockers and a café. Have your swimsuit, towel and secure quick-drying shoes ready.
Briefing and equipment

The instructors explain the safety rules and hand out helmets, life jackets and paddles. The briefing is also given in Russian.
Buggy Safari

You're behind the wheel. Drive in a convoy along dirt roads, forest trails and through puddles. Duration 25–30 minutes
Break and rafting preparation

Half an hour to change and relax. The instructors divide everyone into boat groups.
Rafting, first stage (8 km)

Start at around 12:00, about an hour on the water. Each boat holds 8–11 people plus an instructor. A two-person canoe is available on request in advance.
Lunch by the river

Grilled chicken or trout, pasta or bulgur, and salad. Second helpings are free, drinks are paid separately. You can go for a swim.
Rafting, second stage (6 km)

The current is faster and the waves are bigger. The most thrilling part of the day, about 45 minutes.
Return to the base

Minibus from the exit point, then showers and a change of clothes. The day's footage is shown on screens. Buying it is optional, and the photographer will tell you the price.
Return to the hotel

Departure at around 16:00. Arrival time varies by area, from 18:00 to 19:00

Good to know

It's best not to use your phone or camera on the buggy track or on the water, as there is water and dust all around. Take photos during stops. Instructors may stop any participant who is driving unsafely. Your shoes will get wet along the route, so bring a spare pair.
