About the excursion

Ready for three hours of mud, splashes and roaring engines in the forest near the Kurşunlu Waterfalls? The quad bikes take you off the asphalt and straight into the river and puddles.

Highlights

  • Off-road safari
  • Powerful quad bikes
  • River crossings and mud
  • River swimming at the base in summer

Full description

The quad bikes take you from the stuffy city into the cool forest below the Kurşunlu Waterfalls, where the route runs through mud, river crossings and sharp bends, all at the handlebars of your quad.

After the transfer from your hotel, you'll get a briefing at the base and a short test ride to make sure you can handle the vehicle. Then the first riding session begins on a dirt track, accompanied by an instructor. Total time behind the handlebars is up to an hour and a half, and the whole trip, including the transfer and stops, takes about three hours.

After the first session there's a break at the base. In summer you can swim in the Kurşunlu River, while in spring and autumn the mountain river is too cold for swimming. The base also has showers, a small shop and a café with drinks and snacks. After the break comes the second riding session, followed by the transfer back to your hotel.

The quad bikes are single or two-seater 250cc models. If you find the quad hard to handle, you can switch to a buggy with a roll cage and seat belts on request, which is especially convenient for families with children.
